Reki became a home dog in summer 2024. And you have to hear her story.

Baby Reki was born in a park in Dilijan, and soon all her brothers and sisters disappeared. But this little one was born under a lucky star — and even became a star herself. A movie star!

A film crew was looking for a dog to play the main character’s dog in scenes from his childhood: in other words, when the adult dog actor would still have been a puppy. The filmmakers started searching through chat groups and found a post about puppies in Dilijan. The puppy was brought to set, the little actress worked all day, and then, full and tired, fell asleep in the dressing room.

Our friend, who was working as a camera assistant on that shoot, could not let her be left in the park again. He brought Reki to Yerevan, where we all became her guardians together. And soon they simply could not part anymore: Reki became our friend’s dog.

First she was chosen for a film shoot, and then her life spun into a whirlwind. Together with her human, she traveled for shoots on different films. Reki even completed good dog manners classes in Moscow. With her new owner from the film world, she has already visited several countries, spending whole days on film sets and then helping young actors recover after difficult shooting days.

We even wrote and illustrated a children’s book about Reki and her adventures. Now it only needs to be published.
